At DreamSacks, we see an opportunity to blaze the trails towards the future of a more ecologically and socially responsible business world.   Our Mission To provide wonderfully nurturing natural products while consciously caring for people and our environment.     Fair and Conscientious Employment: We choose to support and promote the humane and compassionate treatment of all constituencies. All DreamSacks employees are supported and well cared for. In Ashland, the employees have health care coverage and a retirement plan option. The Morgan’s have paid special attention to developing relationships with the manufacturers and workers in China who produce the products. We work only with factories that provide safe and friendly environments for their employees. We know the conditions because we visit the factories in China biannually. The Vice President even speaks Mandarin while the President makes a noble attempt.   Reduce and Conserve: We are committed to being responsible citizens of the earth. We actively support efforts to conserve natural resources and ecosystems. We do this by reducing consumption when we can. This includes paperless billing, reusing and recycling paper products and working under solar harnessed lighting. We are participants in the Go Green Renewable Energy Program of the Bonneville Power Administration. We are in process of becoming members of Co-op America. In addition, many of us walk, bike or drive hybrids to work. We’re on our way!   Naturally Nurturing: We recently decided to expand beyond silk with two breakthrough and renewable resources: soy and bamboo. We choose to support sustainable growth and production by providing natural products that have minimal to no negative environmental impact. For example, bamboo naturally repels insects and therefore pesticide use is not necessary. The dyes used in our products are free of hazardous chemicals and meet the strict environmental standards the Europeans require for dyes. Our products are hypoallergenic and are a good option for the chemically sensitive. Not only are our products a sensible choice, they are divinely soft and nurturing next to the skin.
